This book reminds me of Donnie Darko. Because of all the time travel, because neither donnie or billly can control their ability to travel through time. However, i do not think billy actually travels through time i think his travels may be memories of the war and memories of his life. With the whole, seeing his death i think that may have something to do with the fact that he is old, and was in a plane crash and may be a bit senile and losing his mind, but i do think the time travelling is him reliving or remembering parts of his life. I also think that because jake Gylenhall is playing Billy in Slaughterhouse 5 the movie and Donnie Darko that they are linked and the director probably chose him because of the resemblemce. p.s. daniel might have hinted towards that last comment.
